چکیده
Aim of study: In most areas vineyards worldwide, cultivars are frequently grafted on specific rootstocks to avoid Daktulosphaira vitifoliae pest attack. Nevertheless, the absence this in Canary Islands allowed chance conserve and cultivate traditional or new own-rooted genotypes without requirement rootstocks. To investigate responses Vitis vinifera L. salt stress conditions, ‘Castellana Negra’ (‘CN’) ‘Negramoll’ (‘Ne’) were used with aim characterize their morphological physiological responses.Area Islands, Spain.Material methods: The effects NaCl growth, abscisic acid (ABA), salicylic (SA) proline assessed ‘CN’ ‘Ne’ under greenhouse conditions.Main results: ‘CN’, decrease leaf number stressed plants was lower started eleven days later than ‘Ne’. Salt also reduced stomatal conductance (gs), although such took place earlier ABA SA concentrations leaves 2-fold higher those increased content both genotypes, compared control. conclusion, appear be involved grapevines salinity suggest that exogenous could useful mitigate impacts.Research highlights: exhibited a better response through delay injury establishment, dissimilar between seem associated accumulation stress.

Effect of Salicylic Acid Application on Oxidative Damage and Antioxidant Activity of Grape (Vitis vinifera L.) Under Drought Stress Condition
Adaptation and defense responses are the consequences of exposure to drought stress in plants. Salicylic acid (SA) as a natural signaling molecule poses a significant impacts on various aspects of plant growth and development. This study investigates the effects of SA on carotenoids content, lipid peroxidation rate and antioxidant enzymes activities. A pot experiment was conducted using a facto...

The aim of this study was to identify the effect of Spermine and Salicylic acid on several growth parameters, such as shoot length, shoot fresh and dry weights, amount of protein and carbohydrate, of Badami and Qazvini pistachio cultivated variety under copper stress. The experiment design was completely randomized with three replicates per treatment and four levels of copper (o.5, 30, 45, 60 µ...

متن کاملUncoupling the effects of abscisic acid on plant growth and water relations. Analysis of sto1/nced3, an abscisic acid-deficient but salt stress-tolerant mutant in Arabidopsis.
We have identified a T-DNA insertion mutation of Arabidopsis (ecotype C24), named sto1 (salt tolerant), that results in enhanced germination on both ionic (NaCl) and nonionic (sorbitol) hyperosmotic media. sto1 plants were more tolerant in vitro than wild type to Na(+) and K(+) both for germination and subsequent growth but were hypersensitive to Li(+). Postgermination growth of the sto1 plants...
متن کاملInfluence of salicylic acid pre-treatment on emergence and early seedling growth of cucumber (Cucumis sativus)under salt stress
Salicylic acid (SA) is a common, plant-produced signal molecule that is responsible for inducing tolerance to a number of biotic and abiotic stresses. An experiment was therefore conducted to test whether the application of SA at various concentrations (0, 0.25, 0.50 or 1.0 mM) through a seed-soaking method would protect cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) seedlings subjected to salt stress. Aft...
